In Uncertain Times, Update and Leverage EPM to Build Resilience and Increase Flexibility


The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic represents the most significant unanticipated economic event since the financial crisis of 2008. Although some thought the worst was over by the end of 2021 and that 2022 would see a return to a “new normal,” ongoing digital transformation—coupled with additional new global challenges (including uncertainties resulting from geopolitical events, inflation, labor markets, and supplychain fulfillment)—makes anything approaching “normal,” pre-pandemic business conditions unlikely in the next two to three years. This dynamic creates extraordinary stress for business leaders trying to navigate enterprises through an extended period of social, political, and economic turmoil.
