This is the fifth edition of the Wisdom of Crowds SME Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Market Study. This report focuses specifically on how small and midsize organizations use and deploy enterprise performance management software. In particular, we consider how their deployments and views differ from each other and from larger organizations.
Report findings show there has been considerable movement in adoption of enterprise performance management software among SMEs, which bucks the trend of the previous three years. SMEs clearly did not prioritize enterprise performance management software during the period of the COVID-19 epidemic but appear to have shifted their priorities over the last 12 months. This may also reflect increased effectiveness of enterprise performance management vendor programs and offerings that target SMEs.
