Adding Vimeo Video – Dresner Advisory Services

Set Privacy Permissions on Video
- Log into Vimeo and click on video of interest
  - This will take you to the video’s management page
    - URL should have form: https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/[vimeo-video-id], where video-id is a 9? digit number
- From the video’s management page, click the privacy icon
  - (a lock with a checkmark inside – it’s on top right of page)
- From the privacy slide-out menu, scroll down to the Embed section
  - Make sure:
    - “Where can the video be embedded?” => Specific Domans
    - portal.dresneradvisoryservices.com is added to the domain list
Add to Portal DB
- Most fields are self-explanatory
- Special Instructions
  - site => vimeo
  - site_vcode => the video’s 9? digit vimeo-video-id
  - page_id => 3295
  - Tag :
    - To add to Real BI Conference Recordings, set as rbiconf
    - To add to DAS Learning Bytes, set as learningbytes
    - Or create a unique tag if you want to create a new category of videos
(Optional) New Video Category Page (or Post)
- If you created a new tag, then you can create a table of videos with that tag
- Just copy the code from the 2 existing video pages above into a new page (or post)
  - Make sure that you’re in the “Text” edit mode instead of “Visual”
- Replace the tags arg string with your new tag
