Dresner Advisory March 2026 News
The 2026 ADI market is defined by systemic interdependence, in which the primary technical challenge has shifted from individual tool adoption to the seamless integration of security, logic, and cost predictability across the entire analytic data supply and consumption chain….In this complex landscape, the ability to manage the coexistence of legacy stability and modern innovation determines organizational success.

The “Base+Best” vendor framework is a pragmatic response to the current wholesale replacement cycle and the economic realities of cloud-native consumption. In this framework, major cloud providers serve as the primary infrastructure anchor, while engineering teams selectively integrate specialized third-party components to resolve functional and economic bottlenecks. This shift is necessitated by a widening execution gap: While 73% of respondents prefer the simplicity of a single platform, technical modernization has compelled 86% to implement a multi-vendor strategy to meet specific performance and compliance standards.

New Year Data Collection

Thank you to all who have completed a vendor survey, which is the crucial first step toward being included in the 2026 research. Michelle should have sent your unique link to the end user survey, which you can share with your customers for their input.

NOTE: For vendors who want to be ranked in the flagship BI or flagship EPM market studies, please remind your customers to rate you in the appropriate section. The threshold for inclusion is 15 customer ratings – although more surveys are always a good idea.

If you have any questions or need help with any part of data collection, please contact Michelle. We appreciate your participation!
