Happy Spring! Here’s a recap of recent and planned activity at Dresner Advisory.


Market Reports

We published the 4th annual Supply Chain Planning and Analysis thematic market study, and the Semantic Layer and Data Virtualization report. This year’s Semantic Layer study represents a significant evolution from our inaugural coverage, with completely updated research criteria and an expanded scope that includes data virtualization, a reflection of how closely these two capabilities are aligned in practice.

Next up will be the Cloud Computing + BI thematic market study, now its 15th year! This is scheduled for publication mid-month. At the end of April, we will release the 11th edition of Self-Service, along with companion reports on Agentic AI Assisted Analytics, Guided AnalyticsÒ and Collective InsightsÒ.

Research Insights provide a concise analysis of the important issues that are front and center for data leaders today. These are authored for our end user clients and are available to the vendors via the portal for your internal use.

New Year Data Collection

 

We are entering the home stretch of end user data collection.

 

If you are still working to collect customer input and want to be ranked in the flagship BI or flagship EPM market studies, please remind your customers to rate you in the appropriate section. The threshold for inclusion is 15 customer ratings – although more surveys are always a good idea.

Leveraging Your Analyst Time
