Dresner Advisory October 2024 News
“We observe small organizations leveraging BI to grow revenue and increase competitive advantage, likely because SMEs are historically inclined to be more outwardly focused than larger organizations that must manage more cost-driven operational processes.”
Jim Ericson, VP and Distinguished Analyst at Dresner Advisory Services.

“EPM is a mature and important technology for SMEs. Data leaders in SME organizations that have not yet deployed EPM solutions should work with finance leaders and executive management to explore how it may benefit them.”
John Hagerty, Distinguished Analyst at Dresner Advisory.

Happy Fall! Here is a summary of recent activity at Dresner Advisory.

Mid-Year Data Collection

End user data collection is going strong. As we connect with the vast Dresner community to obtain their input, we also rely on you, the vendors, to promote the survey with your customer base.

We recommend sharing your unique link through broad and direct distribution methods such as an email campaign. If you are an ADI vendor, please remind your customers to rate you in that section of the survey.

The mid-year program covers Analytical Data Infrastructure, Embedded BI, Data Engineering, Workforce Planning and Analysis, Supply Chain Planning and Analysis, Active Data Architecture, and Generative AI. These reports will be published on a rolling basis from December through the 1st quarter of 2025.

Please email Michelle if you need us to re-send your link or have questions on the process. We appreciate your efforts!

Check in Calls/Leveraging Units

I am reaching out to schedule individual check in calls to discuss how you’d like to leverage the units of analyst time included with your subscription.

As a reminder, our analysts can support your lead gen and customer facing events: traditional webinars, panels, fireside chats, and podcasts all are popular options. You can also leverage our analyst expertise on advisory sessions covering a range of topics: competitive intelligence, product roadmap development, go-to-market strategies, and message reviews are just a few examples of where we can provide value.  If you have other requests or would like to brainstorm on how to engage with our analyst team, let’s set up a time to talk.
