Here’s a recap of the recent activity at Dresner Advisory.

Market Studies
Last week we published the Self-Service Business Intelligence and Guided Analytics® thematic reports. Your client copies of all Market Studies can be downloaded via the client portal. If you have questions about usage and distribution, or need help accessing the portal please let me know.

The team is currently writing the 14th annual Flagship BI Market Study, which will be published at the end of the month. June’s reports will include Data Catalog (7th edition) and the Flagship Enterprise Performance Management (9th edition).

A current list of 2023 market study titles and projected publication dates is on the portal welcome page.

Research Insights

Recently published titles include:

  • Hyper-Decisive Organizations Align Data and Analytics Strategies with Business Objectives and Outcomes
  • The State of BI, Data, and Analytics for Retail in 2023
  • Leverage Organization Size Data to Better Address the Impact of External Forces

While these are written expressly for our end user constituents, vendors receive these for internal use. Your client copies of the research can be viewed and downloaded via the portal. If you would like, you may use some of your subscription “units” to distribute externally – contact me for details.

Portal Updates: Expanded Search and Faster Loading

Last month we announced full-text search capabilities, which many of
you have had the chance to use.

Based on your feedback, we have just added the ability to search by author and by vendor. This should make it much easier to find specific titles.

And while you probably haven’t noticed the change, the Dresner
client portal has moved. You can still access it using the old URL or
via portal.dresneradvisory.com. You should, however, notice that
pages load a bit faster now.

Advisory Time

We have been working to schedule regular check in calls to touch base and discuss how you’d like to leverage your analyst advisory units.

As a reminder, we engage with vendor clients on a wide range of topics and activities, from speaking at your events, to supporting webinars and podcasts, to providing strategic and tactical advice via advisory sessions. We are happy to provide input on competitors, positioning, messaging, marketing and sales strategy and execution, deep dives into the research findings, and so on.
