Here is a recap of recent activity at Dresner Advisory.

Market Studies

We published the 8th Edition of the Wisdom of Crowds Flagship Enterprise Performance Management Market Study and the 6th annual Data Catalog thematic report.

The analyst team is working on our new Master Data Management thematic report, scheduled for mid-month, and the 9th annual Business Intelligence Competency Center (BICC) report which will be published at the end of the month.

The BI Vendor Insights library is just about complete and will be available shortly to those that have included them in their subscription by month’s end. Vendor Insights provide a detailed examination of individual vendor and product performance, and we publish a report on all vendors included in the BI flagship report. I’m happy to arrange a call to discuss Vendor Insights in more detail if you are interested in learning more or adding these to your subscription for promotional or competitive purposes.

Mid-Year Data Collection

We begin Mid-Year Data Collection this month. The data we collect will form the basis of our 4Q22 and 1Q23 research, including Analytical Data Infrastructure, Embedded BI, Data Engineering, and other topics.

You should have received information from Michelle on the upcoming vendor information sessions. Attending a session is the first step to being included in the research, and we look forward to connecting with you then. We will take approximately 30 minutes to highlight the
topics covered in this round of data collection and discuss actions and timelines for vendor participation.

If you have any questions about the data collection process or can’t find the information to register for a session, please reach out to Michelle.

We appreciate your ongoing support.

Best regards,
Danielle
