Market Studies

We published the 5th edition of the flagship Analytical Data Infrastructure Market Study at the end of January, and will be releasing the new Natural Language Analytics thematic report on February 15.

Our analyst team is currently working on Data Preparation, slated for release at the end of the month, and Data Pipelines and Integration, planned for mid-March.

We recently published the following Research Insights:

  • Trends in Cloud Computing Adoption for BI

  • The next Research Insight scheduled for publication this month is

The full list of completed Research Insights is shared on the portal. Let us know if you have questions about the research or need help accessing any of these titles. As a reminder, you may leverage your subscription “units” if you’d like to distribute any of the Research Insights externally.

New Year Data Collection

Thank you to all who attended our vendor information sessions to kick off the 2021 Wisdom of Crowds® research process. If you weren’t able to attend, contact Michelle for a link to the recorded session, which is about 30 minutes in length.

As a reminder, the data we collect over the next few months will inform our 2021 Business Intelligence and Enterprise Performance Management flagship market studies, as well as thematic reports on Cloud Computing + BI, Self-Service BI, Data Catalog, Data Science + Machine Learning, among others. The vendor survey can be found at www.vendorinformationsurvey.com. Michelle can provide an edit link back into your survey in progress and answer any questions about the timeline.

Luncheon Learning Sessions

We continue to hold monthly free education webinars, which are open to all. The next one will be held on March 9th at 12:00 PM ET when we will share an excerpted video from Simone Knight’s (Univision) presentation on “Tales from the Trenches” – offering practical advice and lessons learned from their BI implementations. This will be followed by a panel discussion.

You may register at http://www.luncheonlearning.com.

2021 Real BI Conference

We’ll officially launch the 5th annual Real Business Intelligence conference within the next month. The 2021 event will be held September 21-22 and will be run in hybrid mode with onsite (in Cambridge, MA) and virtual components.

We have several sponsorship opportunities. If you would like to discuss, please let Danielle know and we’ll arrange a meeting.

Check In Calls and Analyst Time

Now is a good time to consider how you would like to leverage the analyst time included with your subscription. We’ll be reaching out to schedule our regular client check in call, and we’d be happy to discuss various ways our analysts can help.

Having our analysts support your customer facing events such as webinars and podcasts are popular options. Internal sessions on competitive intelligence, product roadmap development, and discussions of go-to-market strategies are areas where we are happy to provide input.

Thank you again for your continued support!
