Dec 2019 Newsletter

December 16, 2019

As 2019 quickly comes to a close, here is a summary of our recent activity.

Recent and Upcoming Research

Wisdom of Crowds Market Research Reports

We published the 7th annual Embedded BI Market Study, examining end user trends surrounding the importance and adoption of embedded BI, architecture and feature requirements, and targeted applications. We will finish out year’s publication calendar with the 5th edition of Big Data Analytics this week.

Our analysts are already working on January’s research, which will include the 4th annual Analytical Data Infrastructure flagship report and the 7th Edition Location Intelligence report.

For those with external distribution rights, remember that you can create summaries of the report to distribute, as well as excerpt content to incorporate in your slides, collateral, or blog posts. Let me know if you have any questions.

Research Insights

We published two new Research Insights covering Data Literacy.

Data Literacy and Data Literacy Programs provides a new, detailed analysis into the levels of data literacy in organizations.

How to Ensure Your Data Literacy and Data Culture Are Effective for BI Success identifies ways to help ensure data literacy and promote a data culture.

The analysts are finalizing a new Research Insight around Data Preparation, which should be published this week.

Research Insights are based on data collected from multiple sources, including our bi-annual survey process, the weekly tweet chat, and industry conferences and events. They are provided as part of your annual subscription for internal use; if you would like to distribute any of these you may apply your subscription units. If you’d like a complete catalog of the 2019 Research Insights titles, please let me know.

Data Collection

In January we will kick off the New Year data collection program, which will form

the basis of our 2020 flagship Business Intelligence and Enterprise Performance Management Market Studies, as well as all our 2Q and 3Q thematic reports. The first step will be to register for one of our short information sessions where we will outline the process, timeline, and vendor actions. Look for an email from Michelle in early January with further details.

Real BI 2020: May 5-6, MIT Campus, Cambridge MA

We have a full roster of speakers for the 4th annual conference.

Registration is open. If you have questions about sponsorship opportunities, please let us know and we can arrange a short call to discuss.

Client Portal

We are pleased to announce that the Client Portal has launched. This is the central point for you to access all your Market Studies and Research Insights, as well as information on our current publication schedule, copies of the monthly newsletters, and other information.

If you have not received an email from me with your login details, or you’d like me to resend, please let me know.

Thank you again for your ongoing support this year. We wish you all a very happy holiday season and look forward to working together in 2020!

Best regards,

Danielle
